america's next top loser
When I started this blog for the sole purpose of recapping each and every episode of America’s Next Top Model I was more than ready to take on the task. However, the last few weeks have contained some unexpected bumps and lumps. Really, it’s not so much that I’ve been too busy, more that my mind has been otherwise occupied. And that has made the task of completing recaps more difficult than that should be. So, I have decided that I do some brief standard summaries and post photos in order to get caught up. I have high hopes that I will get back on track this week. Thanks for sticking with me.

Actress Tia Mowry prepares the models for their acting challenge with actor Efren Ramirez (“Pedro” of “Napoleon Dynamite”).
Renee wins the challenge and chose Dionne to share in her winnings. They are giving “Vote for Pedro” style t-shirts. Later their true prizes are revealed-visits from their family, which included Renee’s son and Dionne’s daughter.
At the photoshoot Jay introduces each girl to a past ANTM contestant. Their photos will represent an “infamous” moment in Top Model history.

Twiggy and Melrose (Melissa Rose of Cycle 7) meet with the girls to share how taking on a new name enhanced their careers. The models each chose new nicknames.
Brittany – “Brit”
Dionne – “Wholahay” (later “Brown”)
Jael – kept her name (rightly so)
Jaslene – also kept her already unique name
Natahsa- "Nata" 
Renee – “Na’em” (later “NeNe”)
Sarah – “Moe” (her middle name)
Whitney – “Whittle”
For the love of Cheryl Tiegs, please do not make them keep using those names.
Dionne wins the challenge and the opportunity to shoot a Keds ad for Seventeen Magazine.
Tyra has a sit down with the girls, who confront Renee about her abrasive behavior.
